The paintings are a study in the aesthetics of contemporary interiors. I attempt to build upon and even invent new notions of what contemporary design should look like. These reflections in space sometimes study the relationships of figures interacting with latitudes. The paintings are first drawn out with magenta oil paint in order create a sense of the painting popping out to the viewer and then filling in shapes with imaginative and experimental colors.

These paintings represent time away from nature. Humanity spends much of our time indoors for work, recreation, and rest. How do we define these environments which have such profound impact on our daily lives? My take on what interior design should look like presents a sense of optimism and New Wave retro aesthetics.
